Freeze provides a great introduction to the properties of water, how it changes states when heated or cooled, and that its mass stays the same in all states. Students will enjoy the challenge of moving the frozen water character through obstacles that will heat and cool it during the game.

In this game, students will manipulate water evaporating, condensing, and freezing it to see it in solid, liquid, and gas states. They will be regularly reminded that the original mass and volume stays the same throughout these changes. The simulation is a great alternative to organizing lab work!
