Activity 1: Simulation Game. Estimated duration: 10 min

Projectile Motion - Vectors

Shoot a cannon and see how the velocity, acceleration, and force vectors change throughout the flight. Adjust the cannonball's diameter and mass, and control the cannon's height, angle, and initial speed. Design your own experiments and collect data. Turn on air resistance, and discover how the drag force relates to the motion of the projectile. Note: Students will automatically move through this simulation after 10 minutes of playtime.

Activity 2: Simulation Game. Estimated duration: 10 min

Gravity Force Lab

Visualize the gravitational force that two objects exert on each other. Adjust the masses and distance between the objects to see the effects on gravitational attraction. Use measurements to determine the universal gravitational constant.

Activity 3: Simulation Game. Estimated duration: 10 min

Projectile Motion - Drag

Take a deeper look at the effects of air resistance when firing a projectile from a cannon. Determine which factors influence the drag force. Adjust the drag coefficient and see the projectile change shape. Control the mass and diameter of the projectile, and set the altitude. Watch the velocity and drag force in real time! Note: Students will automatically move through this simulation after 10 minutes of playtime.

Activity 4: Question Game. Estimated duration: 10 min

Newton's Third Law: Equal and Opposite Reactions

It is up to you to learn all you can about Newton's 3rd law to pass the quest ahead. You will apply action forces on boxes and jump to safety as you collect coins. You will be able to see the direction of force as you navigate through the levels. Once you reach safety, you will test your knowledge on Newton's 3rd law at the end.

Activity 5: Question Game. Estimated duration: 11 min

Boing: Newton's Third Law (Mid)

You will help Newton jump from one tree to another, while collecting apples on the way. You have to determine the right amount of force Newton needs to make it to each tree. If you collect apples and answer questions correctly, you will increase your points. Beware, if you add too much force or not enough, Newton will miss the tree and lose the game.
