Waves Intro - Light

Make light waves with a laser, and discover what determines the color of light. Adjust the frequency and amplitude, and observe the changes in the wave. Design experiments to measure wavelength and wave speed. Note: Students will automatically move through this simulation after 10 minutes of playtime.

You will use a mirror to reflect the incoming light to hit gold coins, but you must avoid hitting the three eyed monsters! As you collect points for gold coins, you learn about electromagnetic waves and the light spectrum. Pay close attention to the teaching screens as there will be a quiz at the end where you will need to use your extensive knowledge of electromagnetic waves to boost your score.
